I've been having weird problems after I bought this theme, so I removed the WP install completely. Installed the Pro version from start. Uploaded my logo and changed the theme color to green.
Then I started to upload a couple of images to the slider.

    Two things happened:
    1. The slider images look distorted. Too wide.
    2. I removed the images and now my theme went back to the default color of orange and my logo disappeared!

    WP version: 3.8.1

Ok, I now got the theme working again.

    1. I followed the instructions to have my images on the slider as 1920x654. The image still look distorted.
    2. Is there a way to remove the slider and put in place other slider plugins?

    Hello,

Upload your images to the slider and inform us.
So that we can check problem at your end. Currently slider is showing default image only.

Adding another slider require some customization in the front page file.
So our first priority is to make this slider working with your images.
It is working fine at multiple sites.

    Thanks & Regards

What if I don't want the slider? How can I remove the slider and replace with a third party image slider or just a page? Take a look at the site now.

    Hello,

Go to the index.php file present in your theme directory and
remove the code of slider from the line number 15 to 276 and put your slider code there.

Did you take a look at my slider images and why are they distorted?
