    Hello,
    Today I just bought the BlogSpring Theme and I noticed that whenever I click a "Category" it will display ONLY the featured posts within that category.

    So basically if I want my readers to see all my posts under a specific category, then I MUST set them all as featured. Is that right?

    If that is the case, could you please let me know if there is a way I can make my category pages look more like a standard blog. (i.e. something like the current template used for "archive")

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.
    Currently theme show featured posts when any category is clicked.
    But we will provide you category file to replace with your existing category file. which will work as normal category page (Will show all posts in that category)
    So please just wait for one more day. We will send you file tomorrow.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hello and thanks for replying.

    I tried the solution provided above, but this will only change/display the posts in the sidebar, the feature area will remain the same. My original idea it was to show all my posts, i.e. similar to how they are shown in the "archives" section, not just in the sidebar.

    Can I use the archive.php file as my category.php file, so I can get the layout? If yes.. should I extra edit it in order to this can work properly as the actual category.php?

    Hello,

    Please check your site.
    Now home page sidebar category will display all posts in that particular category (featured and non featured) when clicked.
    And also we have added blog page template in the theme. Through which you can create page which will display all posts.

    For other users:
    Theme with blog template is available in your members area. You can download it from there.

    Thanks & Regards

    Oh thank you, thats nice.

    I have another question (I asked via email already, but seems via forum is faster the answer)

    I want to remove the date from the entire blog + the search engine. This does more harm than good to mosts of my and clients websites.

    Via email I received the following variants but none of them worked for me:

    and also:

    As I said earlier, non of these variants worked for me.

    I had a similar situation when I bought the RoadFighter Theme and everything was solved by adding the following custom css code (provided by support):

    Code:
    .search.search-results .content-bar .post  .post_date{[/COLOR][/FONT][/SIZE]
    [SIZE=13px][FONT=arial][COLOR=#222222]display:none;
    background:none;}

    .search.search-results .content-bar .post .post_title{
    padding-left:0px;
    }

    Is it possible to do something similar with this theme?

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Go to the single.php file present in your theme directory and follow the instruction shown in the image given below.

    Similarly, do the same in the loop.php and archive.php file present in your theme directory,
    and also in the inkthemes-functions.php file (Theme directory > function directory > inkthemes-functions.php).

    This will solve your issue.
