Plugin Won't Active Because of Error

I have been trying to active the appointment plugin V1.2.7 but I keep getting the following error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/noshows/public_html/wp-content/plugins/inkappointmentpro/ink-admin/appointments-form/getway/paypal-page.php on line 235
