Lost entire site

Hi, my client seems to have reset all the theme options and the website will not load anything (http://www.wyestone.co.uk/). Is there any way of getting this data back? or is it a case of re-adding everything? I started doing that but the site still seems to be dead. Regards Chris

I am sorry to say that recovery of lost data is not possible because resetting the theme option removes all the databases.

Unfortunately, you will have to recreate the website

I thought that would be the case. Having now started re-adding the data I am still only seeing a grey screen. Is there something I need to do to start showing the site again? If I look at the code the test content I have re-added seems to be there, but nothing is showing up on the homepage, etc.

 

Would it be best to backup all existing data and then delete the theme and reinstall?

Yes, must create all data backup before upgrading/installing the latest theme.
