How To Remove/Edit The green "off" comment area

I am NOT using comments and have removed comments from one site from the template.
Now I am lost with how to edit the green "off"-box below the Date on the Blog Preview on the
main site. I would like to remove it or at least replace it. see attached thumbnail...
