    Hello, I need a all black header background for the black theme and have custom css code in the custom area.

    This worked until now when I am moving to a different hosting company and maybe uploaded a different version of squirrel for it.

    You can see above and below the logo it is white and I would like it to be black above and below.

    I made the logo the width of the site so the logo area is extended and is all black. It is white above and below this area.

    The site is jordinelli.com. Can you help with code that will make the header all black and not white and black?

    Thank you for your help.

    If you look at the page and the header is solid black it is because I have pointed back to the old site location that has solid black header until this has beed fixed.

    It is the new site location that has the white area above and below the logo that needs help.

    The code in Styling Options and Custom CSS is:

    .header {
    background-color: black;
    }

    Hello,

    I didn't get your query properly, I can see the header background as a black.

    Will you please elaborate your query a bit more with the help of some edited screenshots of the concerned areas of your site.

    So that we can deliver you an exact and appropriate solution to you,

    Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Thanks & Regards!

    Hello Akbar, thank you for helping me. Please see the screen shots. The screenshot with the logo shows a white area above the logo and a white area below the logo.

    I would like the header container to be all black background, no white background above the logo, no white background below logo. Screen Shot 2017-09-11 at 11.58.16.png

    This is the code that I added to make the header container all black on my old website, but it does not make the header container all black on my new website

    I used a paint program to add black above the logo and below the logo to help you see how I would like the header container to be all black.
    This is not a screenshot of my website now, it's is only a demo to show how I would like the header container background to be all black to match the logo.

    Thank you , I hope this helps to show what I am looking for.

    Hi,

    Just paste the code given below in Custom CSS section.
    (Dashboard->Inkthemes->Theme Options -> Styling Options -> Custom CSS) of your dashboard.

    Code:
    .header .grid_24 {
        background-color: black;
    }
    Hope this helps...!

    Thanks & Regards!

    Hi Akbar, Thank you, yesterday I had the new website available but I changed to the old website by changing the name servers. I did this because the old website looks the way the client likes it with the black header background.

    I will change back to the new website name servers and when it has propagated I will send you the login information.

    Thank you
