Fullwidth Pages on Shop Page

You helped another user address the same issue I need assistance with, however the instructions were not included in the thread. I am using Compass for a woo-commerce site at http://puradiant(com) and would like to know how to make the shop main page "fullwidth" and each product page? I am aware of the "template" fullwidth option, but will not allow me to do it with the shop page. I also used the "quick edit" page feature, as it allows me to pick "fullwidth", but it will not update the page. Please find screen shot and what is circled in red is what I want removed.
