Front Page Blog categories go away

I am looking for a way to get our blog categories to go away on the front page. The page is www.baptisteducators.org. I need this template for the advertising space even though blogs are not the main source of traffic on the page. Can I remove that menu from the pages?

Appearance > editor > header and replace code as shown in image.

I thought that you want to add any ad in place of category menu. But if you don't then no problem just remove the code shown in image and save it.

 

Ok, tried that and now my menu drop downs are all dropping down as it loads. can you all take a look? I have it in maintenance mode to work on it as it we build the site. Can you take a look? e-mail me at [email protected] for login info
