Displaying an image in the Home Page Settings / Homepage Fullwidth Column?

Hi,

I have the Dzonia Pro version. I'd like to find out if it's possible to put code in the Home Page Settings | Homepage Fullwidth Column to display an image from a image URL. I've tried putting HTML code used to display an image on a normal HTML page and that did not work.

Does this area even support displaying of an image?

A code example would be great.
