Black Background

Can I make the background black, or just the background header please.

Also any recommended paypal store plug ins - the client has 5 products but this will increase at time goes on.

For header background
You can add background from
Appearance > Theme options > background image

Code:

.header_wrapper {
background: ENTER YOUR COLOR VALUE;
}

Note: I personally suggest you to add light colors for background. Dark color will reduce text visibility at your site.

For store plugin:
You can use wp-ecommerce plugin. It will work fine.
