40% of my images are registering as not having alt descriptions/tags. I checked and every image uploaded into my media file has an alt tag. How can I find which images do not have alt tags and add them?

I'm guessing that the images uploaded onto the home page are the images the SEO tool is referring to as not having alt tags. Do you agree? If so, how do I add alt descriptions to those images?

    Hello,
In the front page of the Theme all the image have alt tags. I think you have added images in the page without alt tag, so search for that image. It's not the issue from our side.

I have double checked and all images that I've uploaded to the media area have alt tags. One tool specified that my logo for example does not have an alt tag. I uploaded it through the homepage interface. How can I see what alt tags have been added to the photos I've added through the homepage interface?

    Hello,
    1. Go to the header.php file present in your theme directory and then you can check the alt tag for the logo image at the line number 110.
    2. Go to the front-page.php file present in your theme directory and then you can check the alt tag for the images at the line number 17, 21, 43, 63, 83, 102, 122, 138, 152, 154, 169, 171, 186, 188, 203, 205 and 250.

How do I add the alt tag to the video code on line 248? If I'm understanding correctly, line 250 executes if no video has been added and the default video displays. Is that correct?

    For this issue,
Go to the Appearance > Theme options > Homepage Settings >Homepage Two Cols> Right Column Description in your dashboard and add the alt tag in the video embed code as shown in the image given below.

    Hello,
Example frame image is used for the top arc of the slider.

See the image for the reference.

How do I add alt tags to the small images next to the post on the homepage? I create a small image to be used as the feature image for each post. I include alt text in each image, but it is not appearing on the homepage. 'post image' appears for each image on the homepage.

On the blog page, the small images are missing the alt text all together. How can I make the alt text set up in the image appear in these 2 cases?

Thank you very much for your help.

Screen Shot 2013-07-04 at 1.29.40 PM.png Each time I create a blog post, I add 2 images to the media library. I add a full size version of the image and a small 185x165 version to be used for the featured item on the blog post. I'm doing this to prevent distortion of the images when resized to fit the image used on the homepage, blog page and search results page. I always add alt tags to all images uploaded to the media library.

Attached is a screenshot of the images displayed on the homepage. How can I change the alt tags from the generic 'post image' to the actual alt tag from the image in the media library?

If you go to the blog page, none of the images shown have any alt tags. I just want the images displayed to pick up the alt tags I set up in the media library.
