I just took over a site that was built on Squirrel Theme version 1.0. After moving the site to our hosting, the slider on home page is not working and I was told by support that I needed to update to the newest version of the theme. I just purchased version 2.2.6. What do I need to do to update the existing site to the newest version of the theme without messing up the current site? Thanks for the help!
Hello Cgragg! Before updating theme, it is recommended to create a backup of your website because after updation all your customized code will be lost but your content will remain preserved .
