Theme causing CPU overload

I've tried to update the website customconstructionofmi.com with the blackwell theme and as soon as I activate it and visit the website it causes the CPU on my shared cpanel hosting account on Godaddy to go from almost nothing to 100% causing all of my websites to lockup.

I disabled all the plugins and re-activated the theme and I get the same results.

 

The only change I've made is activating the blackwell theme

Not sure what caused it, re-installed Wordpress and issue no longer occurring. Thanks anyway

I have checked your site. Images you are using are too big. Which are making site slow.
Solution:
Convert images to .png format and optimize them with the help of
https://tinypng.com/.
It will make your site fast.
