    Hoi,
Some of my slider images look stretched on my www.stormflowers.nl website.
I have already tried to resize them, but somehow I do not get it to work correctly.

    Can someone help?

    Thanks in advance.

    Erik

    Hello,
I have checked your website it seems that you are using bigger image for slider due to which it is looking compress.
Use slider image of dimension 580 × 325 pixels, this will solve your issue.

    Hi,

Thanks for your response, but my picture does not have that width.
I have now loaded a picture which is 432x323, as this is a normal 3x4 format.
Even then it is stretching my picture.
If I try to resize my picture in microsoft picture manager, it does not even allow me to resize my picture to this format.
Can the slider not just show the picure as it is and not try to stretch it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Erik

    Hello,

You are still not using the recommended dimension of images for slider.
Some images are bigger and some are smaller than the recommended dimension (i.e 580 × 325 pixels) that's why it looks stretch and compress.
    See the link for reference
    1. Bigger image: http://www.stormflowers.nl/wp-content/uploads/Stal21.jpg
    2. Smaller image: http://www.stormflowers.nl/wp-content/uploads/auto432x323.jpg

Use image of recommended dimension i.e 580 × 325 pixels for slider.
    This will solve your issue.
Note: You can use Photoshop tool or any other photo editing tool to edit the image.

    Thanks,

    It was indeed the size.
I first changed the width and then the height by cropping the picture.

    Thanks again.

I am seeing the same issue, even with changing the image size...

The problem is that the image is dynamically stretching if the window is very wide... It's fine if narrow, but grows with the window. Any way to fix this?
