problems creating gallery

Hi There, I have tried to create a gallery using both ways from your documentation with no luck. I do not see the "create gallery " option as described in the one method and have attached a screen shot. I tried the other way and it made a gallery at the bottom but also put the pics in a row on top.

Please advise me as to how to create a gallery. Thanks, Sandra
