Premium Carousel / Slider help required.

Hi,
The Premium Ad Carousel Display - See my Pic Attached.
Where I have shown this outlined in RED can the colour of this area be changed round the Slider/Carousel ?

Also indicated on the same pic is the premium graphic effect using Firefox (No problem in Chrome). The effect in IExplorer is similar. I have mentioned this before but so far nothing seems to have been resolved.

Hi Chester29,

About the Inverted Premium tag in IE and Firefox, I have the same problem and have been nagging the guys at InkThemes but I have heard about a solution other than they are looking into it. Whats odd is that Firefox is a widely used browser and this kind of issues should have been resolved before rolling out the product. At a minimum it should be addressed when reported.

I'm still waiting for them to get back to me. I will update you if there is any resolution.

 

Yes, It's very frustrating to say the least - my repeated requests to try and resolve this seem to have disappeared down a black hole at the moment - problem is that when you have clients on your back asking what the problem is it's no joke !

I'll give it a try this afternoon.
You can maybe see my concern if you look at the attachment from my Google Analytics account.
The problem areas account for some 40% of the visits to my site (IE & Firefox) and only approx 6% for the Chrome visits.
Hopefully your info will fix this.
Can I ask, if this works , will the mod be incorporated in further version updates of this theme?

Hi Priya - thanks for getting back to me.

I'm looking to maybe insert a colour background or as you mention an image.

I've attached a pic showing my colour background arrangement around the search boxes - maybe something like that.
The problem is it's so difficult finding the parts of the code as it's not totally commented.

All I'm trying to do is make a contrast between the slider and the white background - just to make it more attractive.

Code:

    background: lightgray;
}

Change color as per your interest.

Hi Priya,
Re this point - is there anything that can be done re the spacing of the slider within the container?
Looking at the attached pic you can see that the top margin is smaller than the bottom margin.

OK Priya - That works fine. NOW is there a similar setting for the SEARCH bar ( What are you looking for / Select category / Zip - City or Address) ?
