Picture & Page issue

When I place a picture on a page, it automatically blows it up to full size, how can I fix this?

I did that and it didn't work. I also did a plugin test, turned them all off and it did not resolve the issue.

You have to make some settings of images while adding from media.

I also did all of that with the same result.

 

I placed a 150x150 pixel image as a Thumbnail and it still blew up to this size (attached screenshot) I did the reinstall, adjusted options, turned plugins off, not sure where to go from here.

I did a 3rd install, and I noticed that the download says ver 1.1.1, however when I download and install it says ver 1.1.0. Did not fix my problem

Thank you for your help, but I do need the page to be a full width page, at present you changed it to a default page and removed the sidebar, but that doesn't work for my client. Please help me fix this issue as when I put it back to full width page the same issue occurs.
