On image previewing, can it only display the active/selected category?

Sorry for the multiple question. I like the layout and gallery appearance, but something bothering me is on image previewing, the bottom image browser always show all images, meanwhile my active page is one of the category.
Can the bottom image browser only display the active/selected category?

I have discussed with the developer and would like to inform you that will not possible to show only active images over there...

So if you want we can remove that area as mention in the screenshot given below via CSS code..

Thank you for the response. Even though it quite disappointing solution, because i was asking a very common feature that usually used in many websites. But please me give the css code to remove that thumbnail slide bar and next/previous pointer. I will decide whether i use it or not. I think i should looking for plugins that give me this gallery solution.
