Issues: translation and other things

Hi. I came from "X" theme and I'm trying to personalice the blog.

First. My blog is a spanish one. I need to translate ALL:
Latest, What's Hot, Categories, Written by, etc

I tried the POEdit thing you suggest here:

Didn't work. In fact, important words AREN'T on my po archive. Even most... I can't find phrases on the file on my blog... it's very strange.

Second: How do I remove the "Call Us" thing... I can't find it anywhere...
