Ink Themes logo and right hand side bar

Hi, I would like to remove the ink themes logo and web redirect on the front page of the theme - I have tried looking at the video covering this which was posted to help someone else, but get an error saying the web link is incorrect so some hope would be appreciated (i take it you don't need to download screenpresso to view the video).

Secondly I would like to removed the right hand side bar (search, Categories and Archives from all pages) I have tried managing this through the widgets area but nothing seems to work.
