Homepage Content Area Full Width

I have removed the section named "Categories" and "Archives" using the advice in the following forum thread:
http://www.inkthemes.com/community/threads/removing-catagories-archives-from-front-page.6407/
However, the text in "Homepage Content Area" is still formatted with blank space to the right, where before there were the sections "Categories" and "Archives". Is there any way this can be changed, so the text runs the whole width of the white space?

For your information, I am using "WP-Editor" plugin to edit files.

You can also download and use it from the link https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-editor/.

After activating this plugin, you will get the same screen as shown in the screenshot.
