    Home Page Top Feature was in the free version, but when I uploaded the paid upgrade it was not there, yet it still show on my site http:www.dezertmagazine.com Also I could not eliminate the text that comes with it...

    You can make changes on marked area in above screenshot from slider setting options on theme options panel.
