Home Page blog, filter category?

How do I filter it so only one category appears on the homepage news feed and not all? in bottom-feature-left

 

Hello Matlars,

For this go to the
All category and collect id of categy which you want to show at the front page.
check image for reference.



After that go to the
Appearance > Editor / front-page.php
and add code as shown in image.

Code:

&cat=2

add your category id in place of 2.

 

Does not seem to help, it does not filter to only one category that I choose.

And also mention about the category that you want to show on the front-page.
