Sorry, but it's not working fine. It looks the same on my site, I'm using the same template.

Could you please help with this gallery display problem.

 

It's the design of the thumbnail, If you don't like it then you can simply use below custom CSS code in the custom CSS field of the theme options panel.

Code:

.bg-down div,
.bg-up div{
    border: none;
    box-shadow: none;
}

This will help you to figure it out and resolve the issue(s).

Thanks, but this is not what I intended.
I like the border and how it is looking in the theme preview, but on my site it's not looking like in the preview. Please have another look on my screenshot. My gallery thumbnails have like two borders and it's not in a uniform distance around the picture.
