    Hi,

I would like to offer businesses a Free Trial Listing for 30 days. After 30 days, I want the business to be offered a paid listing option, with the free listing no longer available.
I cannot see any settings for that.

Please advise how I can set this up under payment options?

    Hello,

    Greetings from InkThemes!

You can easily set the active period of free listing, please follow the screenshot given below.

or, you can also use below steps..

Go to Bussiness Listing option and click on edit option of that particular listing and set expiry date over there.

Please have a look over the screenshot given below..

Whenever the listing will suppose to expire, listing owner will automatically get an alert to upgrade the listing..

Then the listing owner can upgrade the theme through their dashboard.

    Hi Priyanka,

Yes, I do know how to do that. But, how can I control the Alert email so they will only be able to choose the paid Upgrade, and can no longer continue with Free ??

    Hello,

I would like to inform you, that is possible only with source code customization in the theme.

So you are requested to send us your dashboard details at [email protected] and we will do it for you.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks & Regards!

If you customize the source code for this option, will it get deleted every time a new Theme version is updated?. If yes, please consider my request to include this option in future updates.

    Thank you for your help.

Could you share this code alterations so that all can make use of this?

Actually this is a much needed addition and should be implemented into the theme core, with options too.

It's very important that after the trial period, I as administrator, have option to setup whether, or whether not, the user needs to upgrade to paid before being able to continue. Please make this feature available asap.

    Hello Zoro,

I would like to inform you that - You can configure your Free listing package with your desired activation period, once the period gets over, user's listing would be expired and an email notification will be sent to the user and admin as well, asking for listing renewal (under Paid Package).

I hope you find the above information helpful,

    Warm Regards!

    Thanks for your help.

When I look in the Free Payments settings, I cannot see where or how I can get them to upgrade to paid listing after certain time period.?

Do you mean I should use the Recurring Payment settings with $0.00 for first month, and then, say $30 each month. Is that what you mean?

    Hello,

Firstly, let me clear you few things..

If you are talking about the listing owner that how they can upgrade their listing from free to paid, so tey can do it from their dashboard option.

They just have to follow these steps as mentioned below:

    1) Go to Dashboard menu

    2) Choose free listing

    3) Will get an option i.e. "Want to Upgrade your Listing to Premium ? Upgrade", so you have to click on the box over there

    4) After clicking on that option you will get all the required field to upgrade your free listing.

And if you are talking about the admin that how they can upgrade the listing, so let me tell you they can also do it from the dashboard as I have provided screenshots of that area in my above post..

Hope you will find it helpful,

    Thanks & Regards!
