contact form not emailing

Hello, when i enter details into the contact form there is no email sent.
Its says
"Your Message has been successfully submitted"


but no email arrives.

Go to the template-contact.php file present in your theme directory and paste the "wp_mail" in place of "mail" as instructed in the image given below.



This will solve your issue.

 

I'm not a programmer so I'm scared to do this. unless I confirm I'm doing the right thing. I can see where I should change mail to wp_mail. I just go theme editor>template-contact.php now-just type the correction in then safe to update file??

Just replace mail to wp_mail as shown above in screenshot and save file.

That will resolve your issue.
