I have chosen 'Pink' for the header colour (site theme)
My client would like a brighter colour pink - Colour # F42F8A
Is it possible to change this with CSS code please
    Cheers

    Hello Leonie,

You are using pink color css for the site and making changes in red color css. That's why site not showing changes.
Select red color css through styling options and check, changes will display on your site.

I want to change the color Pink css to #F42F8A (which is a brighter color pink from the original header color #92155e )
I made all the changes to the css code as indicated on the image given by Gourav
I highlighted the lines I made changes to in 'Red' ink color so you could see what I had changed.
Did I change these correctly..? I did not change anything to RED color within the css code....

The website has now gone live on a different URL www.nailpassion.com.au

    I wasn't sure why I was changeing the 'background:#4c5f1d url(images/header-bg-1.png) repeat-x;'
    to 'background:#4c5f1d url(images/headerbg-pink.png) repeat-x;

I thought maybe the word 'Pink' may have to be the color number..... would this be correct ?

    cheers

    Hello,

We have checked your website and it seems that you have change the color in pink.css file but you have not change the color of images, Go to color > images present in your theme directory and search the image that you want to edit there and edit it through Photoshop or any other photo editing tool and upload it.

Note:- Use same name for your edited image and remove the current image.

I'm sorry Gourav - but I am getting totally confused.

Re: 'but you have not change the color of images, Go to color > images present in your theme'

Are you referring to the image in the header -(logo) I do not want this logo color changed.
I have attached two images - one with logo gone and one with it uploaded.

As indictaed on the image I just want the main header color changed and I have done all the css editor changes as you gave to me but the color is still the same !!!!

Not sure what else to do....

    Cheers Leonie

    Hello,
Some areas are showing color with the help of images in the background(with the help of background CSS code) .And the images for the color are kept in the images directory (Theme directory -> Color Directory -> images directory) of Theme directory. To change the color of that areas you have to change the images with your custom color images or you can edit that images with the help of photoshop or any other photo editing tool and then upload it at same directory, having the same name for your edited image and remove the current image.

    For example:
In the header area there is the "headerbg-pink.png" image which is used to display the color with the help of background css coding and it is kept in the images directory (Theme directory -> Color Directory -> images directory) of Theme directory. So you have to replace the "headerbg-pink.png" image with your custom color images having the same name or you can edit "headerbg-pink.png" image with the help of photoshop and then upload it at same directory(i.e in the images directory).

    This will solve your issue.
