Carousel not appearing, tried what was posted here.

I have the page set up to blog
my 5 test post have a images, shows in blog but not on front page
only using yoast turned it off still nothing.
Any other ideas? i thought it would just show up when i posted
i even tried setting image in post to feature and nothing
