cant get google author tag to work with home page

cant get google author tag to work with home page. Is there code that needs to be changed? my author tag works with pages and posts but not home page please help!

Thank you for your help. I was mistaken about one thing. The google author tags only work with posts from the poloray theme. I would like the author tag to show up with posts and home page. Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you.

Author tag will only work for blog post content.
It is not possible to make it work for home page.

 

is there a comparable theme from ink that the author tags will work with the home page and posts?
