images on home page display as clickable on hover

When I hover over the images on my home page (and the slider also) my mouse shows the images as 'clickable' even though no links have been set. (In fact for the three images on the front page I cannot even find any clickable link in the settings!) The slider also displays a 'clickable' link but there are no links set up in the options panel.

When I click on these images it just appears to refresh the home page.

I would like to remove the 'clickable' elements of these images.

Please can anyone show me how?
