    Hi Guys,

Need some help here, I've got full access to admin (although for some reason I cannot register JetPack with this theme) but I cannot view the website itself?

I've been posting listings but cannot even check the homepage, any ideas please?

Can anyone else see it? - http://www.suffolkbusiness.co.uk

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Hello Andrew,

I think it's a plugin issue. So Deactivate all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
It will work if not then
please provide the following information listed below.

    Hi Nitesh,

Well, I deactivated ALL plugins and although I can see some pages (like contact us) I cannot see the homepage or listings pages as well as others?

    Any other ideas please?

    Hello,

You have done some editing (related to 'multisite') in the registration.php file or in other internal files of the theme.
Undo those changes or Please download theme again from your members area and upload it. It will resolve this issue.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Nitesh,

We did remove the Geocraft InkThemes text from the footer as we've obviously paid for the theme and didn't think we were obliged to keep this .. also looks very unprofessional when you are rebranding as your own site.
We also removed a line of text inside the editor that also stated InkThemes and Geocraft.

Surely these don't have to be kept if it's a paid theme?

PS: If I download the theme again will all of the existing listings and blog posts transfer?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

    Hello Andrew,

For each default InkThemes or Geocraft text we have given change option in the theme option panel. You can remove or replace default text easily from there.
    For listings and post:
Yes all your listings, Pages, Post, Menu, will remain intact.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Nitesh,

Right, we've reinstalled the theme but have exactly the same problems PLUS now there are lines of code all over the pages that we can view and customers complaining that they cannot list their business.

Please can you suggest a fix?

    Andrew

    Hi Nitesh,

Thanks for your help so far but we've hit a wall with support, we received an email back that a customer had uploaded an image that was too big and that we should install a plugin to prevent this in future.
We've now done this and emailed support back as it has made no difference, they now have full access to our admin and we don't want to leave it open for much longer.
The site shows loads of code errors, especially on the 'add listing' page and we still cannot view either homepage or listing pages!

    Please advise,

    Andrew

    Hello Andrew,

I have checked your two latest listings. They contain too big images specially "AndrewsBiz - Online Office Supplies" (8mb image). Which is restricting site to load.
Now these two listings are in draft and site is loading.
So go to business listings edit all listings and optimize all big images. It will make your site fast.
For customer uploads you can activate "image size limit" plugin.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Nitesh,

We have now done this (although we're hoping we don't have to manually do this for every single listing!) BUT there is still code showing in every submission box on the add listings page as well as the admin for each listing?

It looks very unprofessional and obviously doesn't work as no customers can submit their listings.

    Please advise!

    Hello Andrew,

For this you need to edit wp-config.php file.
    Go to the
    wordpress/wp-config.php
and edit on line no. 81 as show below in screenshot.

    Thanks & Regards

    WOW!

    Thanks Yogesh! That worked brilliant!

Listen, I'm no tech head (as you've probably worked out from my previous posts!) so could someone explain what we've exactly done by changing the 'true' to 'false' please?

Site up and running - time to start work again!

Thanks again (wish someone could have explained that earlier, it's been over a week with a dead site!).

    Andrew
