When adding images to a listing's photo slideshow from the CP as the Admin, it is no longer accepting images. Then the program displays formatting code that will not disappear when the image filename is removed (see attached screenshot).

This just started happening - a few days ago I added a new listing with images and had no problems.

    Thank you,

    Tom

It appears you are attempting to link the images from an online source in an upload button? I dont think this is possible, have you tried downloading the images you want to your computer then clicking the upload button and selecting them from your computer and uploading?

Thanks for the input, but no, I am uploading images from my hard drive. I have signed out, rebooted and tried it again with the same result.

Thanks Gourav for the help, but that was not the problem; I think it was a conflict with the Firefox "Pin it" button from Pinterest. I was uploading files from my hard drive, but that other code was being inserted that showed the Pinterest data.

I used the IE browser that does not have the Pin It add-on attached and I was able to upload images with no problems. You can see the finished customer listing here, http://www.flatheadguide.com/listing/mystic-creek-studios/

Thanks for your help, I thought you may want to know about the Pinterest conflict.

Hello Tom, I have previously noticed that images in jpg can cause a problem and try to only use images in png, this may not solve your problem but worth checking.

Thanks for the tip Toby, fortunately I haven't experienced any issues with JPGs, in this case I think my browser with the Pinterest Pin it button installed was causing the problem. Strange.
