How backwards compatable is the theme for older IE version, i've been told by someone using IE9 that the text over the slider is nearly invisable and the layout is all over the place. how far back do you guys test?

I'm running the latest version (1.0.5 is currently downloadable), the original homepage issue in IE is resolved and looking fine in IE11

According to Piyush the only thing to change from 1.0.4 to 1.0.5 was what he's advised here http://www.inkthemes.com/community/threads/explorer.9498/

I've just set up a fresh install of Woodpecker 1.0.5 downloaded today... http://woodpecker.i1024.co.uk

IE 9 seems ok apart from the almost invisable slider text/button

IE 8 also suffers from the invisable slider text/button but also the homepage layout is a mess

If you resolve this with a version update please can we have details of files/code affected!

    Hello,

I have checked your site in IE but not found such issue.
I think you are checking your site in IE's compatibility mode. Please set it to the normal mode or check your site in another system.
    It will look fine.

    Thanks & Regards

The problem was reported to me by a client using IE9 (not in compatability mode) his screenshot was showing the issue of the faded text over the slider image

    Hello,

    Found the problem.
You are checking site in "Browser mode: IE9 Document mode: IE9 standards".
But the default setting is "Browser mode: IE9 Document mode: Standards".
    Please check image given below.

Nitesh the last screenshots I posted were taken directly using IE9 and IE8 on virtual machines NOT IE11 using F12 Developer Tools, my client also sent similiar shots from IE9!

Thanks Piyush, Im not concerned about IE8 I though I'd read that it was backward compatable to 8 but I think that was a mistake on my part.

Sorry to keep bothering you but could you tell me which files have been updated please
