    Hello,

I'm having trouble with this site: http://santabarbarawinetours.org.

I turned off the front page and am using a page with a standard template as the front page by changing the WordPress Reading Settings to Front Page Displays: A static page, and selecting the
    Front page and Posts page.

The problem I'm experiencing is that I can't set the title tag or meta description for the posts page. I'm using an SEO plugin to set my meta tags (SEO Ultimate), but the title tag and meta description I set for the front page are also showing up in the source code of the posts page, even though I set a completely different title tag and meta description for that page. If you compare the source code for these two pages: http://santabarbarawinetours.org & http://santabarbarawinetours.org/wine-country, you'll see that the title tags and meta descriptions are the same, even though I set different ones for each page.

Right now, my posts page is outranking my front page for my main keyword. I would appreciate some advice on how to fix this problem so that I can set the meta tags of my choice on the posts page.

    Hello,

You can use "All in one SEO" plugin. It will provide you options to add separate title and description for each page.
Seo option in the theme, set title and description at the header. So it will work for each page.
Remove meta title and description from theme options SEO option and add separate seo detail for each page.

    Hi Nitesh,

Actually, I'm using the SEO Ultimate plugin which gives me the ability to set the title tags and meta descriptions for each page, just like All In One SEO does.

Anyway, I was able to solve the problem with the help of your advice. Thanks
