    How do I get the correct size image for blog posts to show in the blog section of the home page?

    There no such recommend size for this images, It works on the default WordPress functionality. You can use any size for the image.

    The featured image on the blog page are being changed on the home page is the issue.

    We have got your concern and checked the theme at our end, we didn't find such issue.

    You must have configured Featured Image on your posts and cleared the cache (if any).
