I have complained of this previously and nothing has been done, other theme users are also having this problem. See my previous complaint:

    https://www.inkthemes.com/community/threads/latest-version-of-the-theme-still-broken.21631/

I have followed the instructions on setting the map up, have a new api key and still have the following problem:

    1) The map fails to display on Firefox, Opera and Chrome yet displays OK in Safari.

    2) If a user clicks on a pin the returned record set will NOT display a 2nd page of results

And yes I am using the latest version of the theme even though you are unable to note the release version number correctly which would help us all.

Surely you have an answer to this as other themes I use manage to display Google maps with no problems.

    Regards

    Roger B

    Hello,

I have just checked your website and found the below error:

You are requested to contact your host provider in this regard...

    Warm Regards,

Please explain to me why the map works correctly in a Safari browser if there is a hosting issue?

Screenshot attached to prove my point!

I have other directory web sites on the same server that have no problems with Google maps and pins so why is there still an unresolved issue with Geocraft.

I repeat if I go back one release the map works correctly on the front page.

OK, I can see that someone from support logged onto my site, has done something and that it now works correctly.

I would now like know what was done to achieve this.

Did you revert back to a slightly older version which I know does work?

    OR

Did you fix the problem within the theme coding in which case exactly what was corrected and has this been applied to the version currently available to members?

    Hello Roger,

We didn't do anything with the coding, we have just activated other theme and again activated this theme, also turned off & on the Geo Location map option from the theme options panel.

Let us know if you need further help.

    Regards,
    Akbar

OK, so a week later and the same issue has occurred again. Tried shutting down all cache locally and on server but still the same.

Safari is perfectly ok but Opera, Chrome and Firefox all fail to display the front page map.

Also tried turning off & on the Geo Location map option from the theme options panel and changing themes again as you did - all to no avail.

So here we are a month later with no response or fix for the problem.

Unfortunately there are now far better/modern offerings of directory themes in the market place with better support that I am considering moving across to.

It seems that Inkthemes is close to collapse and are no longer able to provide effective support to its customers. Little things such as correct notation of revision levels make life difficult for users and little is done about it. Perhaps the programmers with this knowledge are no longer with your organisation.

Whatever the issues at Inkthemes we deserve better support than we are currently receiving.

Your comments please of perhaps you would care to escalate this to Inkthemes owner for his reaction!

I found your new header for wanting feedback quite novel.

Here's some feedback - fix the Google map part of the theme as I have so often requested and given you feedback on!

OK, so here we are a year later and still no fix or sign of a fix.

Exactly what is happening at Inkthemes apart from all your developers leaving! Why no priority on this theme?

    Hello Roger,

Thanks for getting back to us,

I have check our theme on multiple browsers. The map is working perfectly, Please have a look at this linked video: https://screenpresso.com/=Kc0re

There is some misconfiguration in your website. Maybe there are some plugins installed on your website which causes conflicting on your website.

So deactivate all plugins and check your website again.
