    Hi,

    My website is http://www.kineticinquiry.com/

My "logo" is simply the name of my company and a tag line.

I've tried making the logo both a .jpg and .tif file. But if you look at the site zoomed in, then the text in the logo look fuzzy (but the text on the page does not).

So, I tried one experiment where I simply inserted my company name into the appropriate place in the header file. It looked awesome on my PC. However, on my laptop I don't have the font installed and it appeared in a different font and did not look good.

Is there a way I can have the name of my company look good both zoomed in and on all machines?

    Thanks,

    Laura

    Hi laura,

The information on your site intrigued me. Never heard of it before. I will be reading more.

What software are you using to create your logo? I use paint shop pro 14
    This is my method.

Create a new image , make it any size you want, but I find if I start very large and resize the finished image it works better.

So I might make it 800 x 600 pixels in size
I make it 300 dpi so it is actually print quality

Add a new layer, Use the text tool to put in your company name.
Add a new layer and use the text tool to put in your tag line.

Save the original image in the default for your software. For example mine is a pspimage

Then merge all the layers once you have things set you want them and merge the layers. Then save as a .jpg.

From there I then, soften the image a bit and then do my resize. Then resave.
    Hope this helps you.
