    Thanks for that, any chance of reducing the width as well

    If i just reduce the height the picture looks squashed

    Cheers

    In that case, when you reduce the height to anything. Let says you put the height of the Slider to 250px. Upload the image which is 250px in height and your image would not look squashed anymore.

    So basically your saying it is not possible to reduce the width of the slider.

    I would like the slider to be about 600px x 300px and not 100% x 385px

    I've been told via email that it's not possible to change width of slider, only height

    The code I've been given to change slider height is

    '.flexslider {
    max-height:50%;
    }
    .flexslider .slides img {
    max-height:175px;
    }
    .slider-shaddow{
    height:25px;
    }'

    This works fine BUT the blue dots now appear on the slide's lower edge, rather than below the below the shadow. How can I reinstate the blue dots so they appear below the shadow - this looks much better?

    Worked it out - spelling mistake in code - instead of "shaddow" you need "shadow" - then blue dots are back where they should be
