I have used the homepage feature boxes on the Colorway theme as links to my various points of communication.

What do I need to enter into the "Link" box on the last one to make it a direct link to compose a new e-mail to me?

    Here is a screen grab.

But this is what happens when I enter the standard HTML link code: a href="mailto:myemailaddress">

    Use this example of code:
<a target="_blank" href="mailto:username@domain.com">Your text, contents, Images, what ever you would like to add here</a>

But keep it mind that it doesn't work in link box. I hope this solution will solve your problem.

    Thanks

Just to be clear, here is a screen grab of my website.

The Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn icons go straight to the websites. Are you saying there is no way for me to link that envelope icon to an e-mail address?

Whatever email is set up in your GENERAL settings will be the email that the icon links to.

That's fine, but what HTML code do I enter into the "Feature Link" box?

Never mind. I'm an idiot. I finally worked it out.

All I needed to do was insert: mailto:myaddress@mydomain.com

I was using and link tags which was screwing up the formatting.

Close thread if you like. Thanks.
