    Is it possible to make the slider appear on any page?

    You need to use some Slider based plugins to get that functionality.

    Using Slider Plugin, you can create multiple Slider and you can use them on different pages using some kind of Shortcodes etc.

    There are some premium Slider plugins like Nivo Slider Plugin etc. You can search the Wordpress.org for free alternatives as well.
