This post is especially for wordpress lovers, those who use wordpress for their website or blogs. WordPress is more popular than other CMS’s because it has too many plugins and themes. Usually people use plugins to extend the functionality of website but there are many important plugins capable of optimizing your website for better performance.

Most of the people concentrate on functionality and look of the website and they forget about the performance of website. Even if you are working on SEO of your website and you are not getting expected results than there may be some problem related to performance of website. Yes websites which loads slower cannot have good search engine ranking. I am writing this post to help you optimize your website, these plugins have the capability to make site faster and efficient:

Parallelize:

This plugin is very important and it is recommended for websites which gets more traffic. Usually browsers can handle up to 60 http requests simultaneously, but only two to four simultaneous requests can be handled from a same hostname. This will slow down page loading time of your website. To come out of this problem Google suggested a solution of parallelizing resources with 2-5 hostnames on site.

This plugin is really helpful and it automatically parallelizes wordpress attachment files across multiple hostnames which decreases page load time.  This is a great plugin and should be used.

WP file cache:

As wordpress is a good CMS so it cares about caching because it is essential. Instead of the built in wordpress caching, you can use this plugin to implement object level persistent caching. This plugin helps your website and reduces the load time from your database. WP file cache shifts the load from your database to your disk/file system. This plugin is recommended for sites with large database and files.

Quick cache is a great plugin that helps you in optimizing your website’s speed. It builds cache for every single page, post, link, category etc. These caches are stored intuitively so they can be accessed later. This results in faster page loading by saving all the unnecessary processing time. It uses configuration option that you select from the options panel, unlike other plugins for caching this plugin uses advance technique for caching. This plugin is enough intelligent to recognize when it should and should not serve a cached version of any file of page.
