6 Easy Tips to Get Quality Backlinks
In many posts I have mentioned that backlinks always add advantage to your site. It is very important thing for SEO of any site. Most of the people always think how to generate or get backlinks? I am writing this post to explain various ways which will help you generate quality backlinks to your site. What does quality backlink means? The reputation of the website which is pointing to your website decides the quality of the backlinks. Search engines looks at backlinks and accordingly it evaluates popularity of the website and gives it a rank. So let’s start and see how we can generate backlinks:
Press Releases:
In order to get high quality backlinks you have to get a press release written and get it distributed to thousands of different news and press sites. If your Press release is well written and is of super quality then it may be picked up by websites like New York Times and USA Today, this will give you super quality backlink for free.

Write Testimonials for the products and services you have used. I was just reading through this article ( thanks for taking the time to write it) and saw that social monkee was now a paid service too, $7 lifetime payment. Is it worth it? Has any one tried it? Its quite disapointing but I guess you have to get on board with these things as soon as they start before they start charging people. To check backlink you can use http://www.alexa.com and in search tab enter your website name a result will be displayed where this will be written-Site Linking In the no of site witten there are the no of backlink
now google update in there policy for webspan and other forum fill then give us penalty in website so how to generate backlink for website…………

I submitted a press release to announce our affiliate program about a week ago. Today I was told that it’s been picked up by Yahoo news, which is great and exciting, but I haven’t noticed any new backlinks to the site. Is it because it’s too soon?

I am going to use link bait. Social bookmarking and blog commenting are my favourite way to get backlinks. Social signals are useful in ranking our blog on search engines.
Out of different ways of building quality backlinks, I would say Social Bookmarking is the most effective.

Great article, combination of press release and social bookmarking works very well, just need to put the hard work into it to get the results you seek!
Social Monkee is not a tool one should use for link building. There is a very high chance that google will deindex the site or penalize it. I have checked many reviews of the same and found that reviews are so pathetic and it looks like this tool should be completely avoided.

I find that using CommentLuv to comment on high PR blogs is a strategy that works well for me for many reasons – the high PR blogs in my industry are usually valuable and worth reading (yes, it’s not just about links!) and it gives us an opportunity to make new contacts at the same time. Any kind of automated tool misses the point on both of these counts.

You can easily improve your search engine listings by using the noodp and noydir tags as well.
In addition to Sanjeev’s tips:
- Do not ever use backlink programs.
- Do not add your site to all the directories you find on Google.
- Google dominates the web (Over 80%). Google, yahoo and bing are your only friends. Do not waste time with others.
- Do not try to get 100s of backlinks in a day.
- Never pay for backlinks
- Always have unique content (and let people copy/paste)
- Clean coded website is a must (not talking about h1 tags or keywords)
- Allow visitors to post comment (Do not use nofollow, use dofollow)
- Find cheap advertising sources to drive visitors to your site regularly.
- Find friends that have access to .edu and .gov websites to get backlinks
There are, of course, much more for advanced users and webmasters, but I just wanted to underline some for starters.

Well dofollow links pass link juice which is better for your websites ranking. nofollow links are not crawled by search engines but it doesn’t mean that you should not create nofollow links.
